at terror street and agony way was Bukowski's first book for Black Sparrow. originally the cover was completely red (see the bottom image), but there was a typo: SREET in place of STREET. the white labels with the correct spelling were pasted over the original covers. Only 18 copies of the original version exist, as they were sold before the mistake was caught.
